What is eDoklady

eDoklady is the official Czech mobile application for managing digital identity documents. It allows citizens to carry and present digital versions of their documents — driving licence, national ID card and others — directly on their smartphone. The app is available for Android devices.

How to sign in

Sign in using your verified digital identity. The following methods are supported:

  • BankID — sign in via your Czech bank.
  • NIA — National Identity Authority.
  • MojeID — sign in with your MojeID account.

Once signed in, your documents are loaded securely from state registers. The app does not store any sensitive data on your device.

How digital documents work

Digital documents in the eDoklady app are fetched in real time from the Central Driver Register (CEK) and other official state databases. Data is always current and signed with a qualified electronic signature.

A digital document can be used alongside the physical document during checks carried out by public authorities.

Device management

In your account settings you can see all devices you are currently signed in on. If you lose a device or switch phones, we recommend removing it from the list.
